Dr. Philippe Sauer

Dipl.-Ing. (Chemistry)

Studied chemistry at the Technical University of Darmstadt with emphasis on organic, technical and physical chemistry as well as biochemistry. His dissertation was in the area of biochemistry and his doctorate in the same field was completed at the MPI of Biophysics in Frankfurt am Main. He headed a laboratory in a biotechnology company between 1997 and 2000.

He has worked in the area of intellectual property since 2000 and was admitted to practice as a German and as a European Patent Attorney in 2003 and 2004. He joined Manitz, Finsterwald & Partner in 2005.
